Not many writer’s get recognition here on elfwood. I think its mostly laziness of people. They don’t want to sit and read something on the internet. If they read they would much rather it be in paper/book form. Hopefully the novel I’m writing will be a success. I’m self publishing it. If you want to take a look at it and tell me what you think or any suggestions opinions that would be marvelous! Its called The Messenger. Patricia M. DŽAngelo replies: "I’ll drop by!"

Just tell me if you feel up to it and I can e-mail it to you or we can figure something out. Patricia M. DŽAngelo replies: "Maybe, its my age, but I just tend to be very careful. I don’t like to give out my personal e-mail address. But if you can think of some other way. "

| 23 Jun 2010 | Michael Jones | Loading...Hello just thought I would drop by. Finding it hard to keep on writing, kind of feel like I should give up completely. Only comments I ever get on here are those telling me where I need to improve and even when I follow them I’m told theres more to change. Sigh. Anyways how have you been? Patricia M. DŽAngelo replies: "Please do not let yourself get too discouraged. There are many different levels of writers here. The more you write, the better you will get at grammar, balancing action against description, word choice, characterization, and many other aspects of writing. What cannot be taught as easily is imagination and ideas.
If writing is too hard right now, I would concentrate on writing some short stories. Keep honing your skills and you will get better.
I’ve been writing for over 30 years, and I can promise, the more effort you put into writing, the better you will get.
I’m still learning and getting better."

I don’t remember reading it. Also check out this link https://dtp.amazon.com/mn/signin . You can publish your short stories on Amazon.com and they can be sold on the Kindle store. Anyways love you and talk to you soon. Patricia M. DŽAngelo replies: "That’s the one I sent off for competition. You read t)he two separate intros I wrote when I was trying to decide which one to go with. I don’t think you ever read the full tale. (A finished one even)"
